Emails Blocked?:
We use a high-quality spam filtering device that examines over 150,000 emails per day (over 50 million per year) for the presence of "spam". This system is very accurate, but can never be 100% perfect due to the ever-changing nature of spam. Once in awhile a message may be blocked that shouldn't be; or a few spam messages may get through.
You can minimize the chances of your own email being blocked by doing the following:
- Always include a subject line. If you leave the subject line blank you can almost certainly count on the message being blocked as possible spam.
- Avoid short, non-descript subject lines such as "Hi" that really don't say anything about the content of the email. These are common in spam and may be blocked.
- If you use an email service that includes advertising links in your sent emails, they may be blocked by the system.
If you receive spam: please delete and ignore. Usually, by the time we block spam, the sending address has already changed and there is no way to effectively prevent it in the future. Normally these are picked up very soon by our constantly updated system.
